Abracadabra // Poetry

Abracadabra

A magic trick, she’s practised
Looked upon the horizon
No horizon,
Only anguish

A magic trick, she rehearsed
Hearts flipped
But she,
She remained still

A magic trick, she tricked
Evil trickery
A daily show
She earnt nothing

A magic trick, she grew tired
It was tiresome
To be dead,
But appear to be alive.

My name is Yashvi and I’m a fourth year medical student. Through my journey I have found I couldn’t find too many things I could really relate to, or that helped me. So, I decided to write them. I hope this helps you to see that you are not alone.
